Good morning, folks. I welcome you to the 11th meeting this year of the Transport and the Environment Committee. I also welcome Neil Stewart, who has joined the committee as an assistant clerk and Marie-Amelie Viatte, who has joined the Scottish Parliament information centre as a senior research specialist on environmental matters. Marie-Amelie has come along with Graeme Cook and Stephen Curtis, who I have no doubt are her minders for the morning.

We have received apologies from Maureen Macmillan, who has a clash with the Justice 1 Committee, which is doing stage 2 of a bill. Bruce Crawford has not arrived yet, but we expect to see him sometime this morning.
