Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I welcome committee members, witnesses and members of the public to what is—perhaps sadly—the final meeting of the Rural Development Committee in this session of the Parliament. Some visiting members are due later. First, I issue apologies from Fergus Ewing, Irene Oldfather and Elaine Smith. I also issue my normal reminder that all mobile phones should be turned off, both around the table and in the public gallery.
