Interests

I welcome committee members and members of the public to the 13th meeting of the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee in the fourth session. I remind members and the public to switch off all BlackBerrys, mobile phones and electronic devices, as they interfere with the electronics. Angus MacDonald has submitted apologies for absence. Jim Eadie is supposed to be substituting for him, but he has not arrived yet.

I welcome Murdo Fraser to his first meeting of the committee and ask whether he has anything to declare in relation to the committee’s work.

I refer members to my entry in the register of members’ interests, but I have no interests that are specific to the committee’s work.
