Deputy Convener

The third item on the agenda is choice of deputy convener. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish National Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener of the committee and I understand that James Dornan is the SNP’s nominee for the post.

James Dornan was chosen as deputy convener.

I congratulate Mr Dornan on his appointment.
