Statutory Instruments

The Convener:

The next item on the agenda is consideration of three Scottish statutory instruments. The first is the Building Standards and Procedure Amendment (Scotland) Regulation 1999 SSI (1999/173). The instrument was laid on 14 December 1999 and is subject to annulment until 9 February 2000. The Subordinate Legislation Committee considered the instrument on 11 January 2000 and had nothing to report. A briefing has been provided by the Scottish Executive. Are members content with the instrument and the briefing note from the Executive?

The second instrument is the Invergarry-Kyle of Lochalsh Trunk Road (A87) Extension (Skye Bridge Crossing) Toll Order (Variation) Order (SSI 1999/196). The instrument was laid on 24 December 1999 and is subject to annulment until 13 February 2000. The Subordinate Legislation Committee considered the instrument on 18 January and had nothing to report. The Scottish Executive has provided a briefing on the instrument. Is the committee content with the instrument?

The instrument was laid on 22 December 1999 and is subject to annulment until 1 February 2000. The Subordinate Legislation Committee considered the instrument on 18 January 2000 and had nothing to report. The Scottish Executive has provided a briefing on the instrument. Are members content with the instrument?
