Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the first meeting of the Rural Affairs Committee in 2000. It is my particular pleasure to welcome the Minister for Rural Affairs, Ross Finnie, who is here to deal with item 3 on the agenda. We hope that he will also be able to help us with item 2.
