Good morning and welcome to the 20th meeting in 2015 of the Health and Sport Committee. As usual, I ask everyone in the room to turn off their mobile phones, as they can often interfere with the sound system. I and others will be using tablet devices instead of hard copies of committee papers. We have received an apology from Rhoda Grant, who is attending the Justice Committee on other business.
The first item on the agenda is a decision on whether to take in private at future meetings consideration of our approach to the Health (Tobacco, Nicotine etc and Care) (Scotland) Bill, the Transplantation (Authorisation of Removal of Organs etc) (Scotland) Bill and our inquiry into palliative care. Are we happy to do that?
