I welcome you all to the Health and Sport Committee’s sixth meeting in 2011 and our final meeting in this parliamentary session. I remind everyone to switch off mobile phones and other electronic equipment. I have received apologies from Helen Eadie, Ross Finnie, Michael Matheson and Dr Richard Simpson.

The first and only item on the agenda is consideration of 10 negative statutory instruments that cover various issues. Members have a note from the clerk that sets out the purpose of each instrument and any comments that the Subordinate Legislation Committee had to make on them. Do members have any issues with any of the instruments?

Members: No.

Are members content not to make any recommendations to the Parliament on them?

Members indicated agreement.

That concludes today’s business. At long last, we have achieved one of the shortest meetings in the history of the Parliament. We might even have broken the Subordinate Legislation Committee’s record—who knows?
