Arbitral Appointments Referee (Scotland) Order 2010 (SSI 2010/196)

Colleagues, as there is another meeting in this room at 1 o’clock, we need to move on to our final item, which is consideration of a Scottish statutory instrument under the negative procedure. The order lists the persons who are authorised to act as arbitral appointments referees for the purpose of the Scottish arbitration rules as set out in schedule 1 to the Arbitration (Scotland) Act 2010, a piece of legislation that is dear to our hearts. After considering the order, the Subordinate Legislation Committee agreed that no points arose on it. If members have no comments, I seek the committee’s agreement that we have no recommendation to make to Parliament on the order.
