I welcome members of the press and public to the 20th meeting this year of the Transport and the Environment Committee. I also welcome the Minister for Transport and the Environment and her officials Bridget Campbell, Neil Ingram and Paul Cackette, who are here today to discuss an affirmative Scottish statutory instrument on pollution prevention and control.

I have received apologies from Tavish Scott and Linda Fabiani, who are attending the Holyrood progress group, and from Des McNulty.
