Decisions on Taking Business in Private

I open the first meeting in 2008 of the Scottish Parliamentary Pension Scheme Committee. No apologies have been received—obviously not, as we are all here.

Under agenda item 2, we will discuss our approach to evidence taking, including the calling of witnesses, and under item 3 we will discuss the responses to our consultation paper. I recommend that we take those two items in private. Do members agree?

Do members also agree that, at future meetings, we should consider in private our draft report and the main themes that arise from our evidence-taking sessions?
