Item 2 on the agenda is consideration of subordinate legislation. I refer members to paper HC/S2/04/12/1, which has been circulated. There are seven negative instruments on the agenda: SSI 2004/142, SSI 2004/144, SSI 2004/154, SSI 2004/155, SSI 2004/162, SSI 2004/168 and SSI 2004/169. The Subordinate Legislation Committee has no comment to make on SSI 2004/144, SSI 2004/154, SSI 2004/155, SSI 2004/162, SSI 2004/168 and SSI 2004/169 but has commented on SSI 2004/142. Members have seen its comments. No comments have been received from members and no motions to annul have been lodged in relation to the instruments. Is it the committee's view that we do not wish to make any recommendation in relation to any of the instruments?
