Official Report 116KB pdf
After our previous meeting on 27 May, we wrote to the Scottish Government about two Scottish statutory instruments. Members have seen the responses.
Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (Designation of Participating Countries) (Scotland) Order 2008 (Draft)
Are members satisfied with the Scottish Government's response on the use and citation of the enabling powers, and if so, to draw the order to the attention of the lead committee and Parliament on that basis?
Mobility and Access Committee for Scotland Revocation Regulations 2008 (SSI 2008/187)
Are members satisfied with the Scottish Government's response and, if so, to welcome the undertaking to remove the obsolete references at the next relevant legislative opportunity, and to draw the regulations to the attention of the lead committee and Parliament accordingly?
All good work done.
