Interests

Ian McKee (Oldest Committee Member)

Welcome to the first meeting of the End of Life Assistance (Scotland) Bill Committee, which I am convening in my position as the oldest committee member. In fact, I have now convened three committees in this session, which is probably a small record. Unfortunately, I have been in the role of convener for a total of about four minutes.

I ask committee members and members of the public to ensure that mobile phones, pagers and BlackBerrys are turned off. We have received no apologies for the meeting.

The first item of business is to declare interests that are relevant to the committee’s remit, in accordance with section 3 of the code of conduct for members of the Scottish Parliament. I will begin by declaring that I have no interests to declare other than those recorded in my entry in the register of members’ interests, which is on the Parliament’s website.

Helen Eadie (Dunfermline East) (Lab)

I have no interests to declare other than those in my entry in the register of members’ interests.

Nanette Milne (North East Scotland) (Con)

I have no interests to declare other than those in my entry in the register of members’ interests.

Michael Matheson (Falkirk West) (SNP)

I have no interests to declare other than those in my entry in the register of members’ interests.
