Item 4 is consideration of our approach to scrutiny of the financial memorandum on the Control of Dogs (Scotland) Bill. The clerk's paper recommends that we adopt level 1 scrutiny. The recommendation is that we seek written evidence from the Scottish Government, all local authorities, the Scottish Court Service, the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland, the Scottish Legal Aid Board and the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. Are members content with that approach?
Members indicated agreement.
As previously agreed, we will now move into private session to discuss further our approach to stage 1 scrutiny of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Bill. I will allow a minute or two for members of the public to leave.
Meeting continued in private until 15:09.
