The next item on the agenda is to decide whether to take items 7 and 8 in private. Item 7 relates to a complaint referred to the committee at stage 1 of the complaints process and the code of conduct and the Scottish Parliamentary Standards Commissioner Act 2002 specify that stage 1 of a complaint should be conducted in private. Do members agree to take that item in private?
For item 8, the committee will consider legal advice that we have received. As a result, it might be appropriate for that discussion to take place in private. Are members agreed?
