During dissolution, there are no MSPs and no parliamentary business can take place.

Decision on Taking Business in Private

Welcome to the eighth meeting of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee in session 4. I remind members and guests that it would be helpful if they could turn off their mobile phones and BlackBerrys.

We have one or two little bits of business to take care of before I introduce our witnesses. First of all, I invite the committee to agree to take consideration of its work programme in private at a future meeting. Are members agreed?
