Decision on Taking Business in Private

I welcome everyone to the third meeting in 2010 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee. We have received apologies from Peter Peacock and Nanette Milne. I welcome Jackie Baillie, whom I will bring in for item 2, if that is required.

Item 1 is a decision on whether to take in private item 3, which is the committee’s first detailed consideration of a possible rule change. Are members happy to take item 3 in private?
