Decision on Taking Business in Private

I welcome members to the 20th meeting in 2009 of the Subordinate Legislation Committee. We have apologies from our convener, Jamie Stone, which is why I am in the chair. I ask members to turn off any mobile phones, BlackBerrys and so on.

Item 1 is a proposal regarding item 5, which is the committee's consideration of its draft report on Scottish statutory instruments laid in 2008. Given the nature of the discussion, it is appropriate to take that item in private. Do members agree?
