Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this unusual setting for the Rural Development Committee. I should perhaps explain to our witnesses that we do not usually meet in quite such formal surroundings, but I hope that our proceedings will be as informal as possible. The other room in the Hub is so small that it is almost unbearable; this room may have the opposite problem. It is nice to have you with us.
