I welcome everyone to the second meeting in 2003 of the Local Government and Transport Committee. We have received an apology from Iain Smith MSP.
The first item was to be declaration of interests, but the only member who has yet to declare their interests is not present. Depending on whether they attend, we might return to the item later in the meeting.
