Local Government and Transport Committee, 09 Mar 2004

Meeting date: Tuesday, March 9, 2004

Contents

Subordinate Legislation

Local Government Capital Expenditure Limits (Scotland) Regulations 2004<br />(SSI 2004/29)

The Convener:

The next item relates to subordinate legislation. No members have raised points on the regulations and no motion for annulment has been lodged. However, I draw to members' attention the Subordinate Legislation Committee's questions to the Executive about the regulations, which were answered. That committee expressed concern that there was slight doubt about whether the instrument was intra vires. As no motion for annulment has been lodged, do members agree that they have nothing to report on the regulations?

Members indicated agreement.

The next agenda item is item 3, which we have agreed to take in private.

Meeting continued in private until 17:38.
