Agenda item 5 concerns witness expenses in relation to our scrutiny of the Transport and Works (Scotland) Bill. Normally, at the start of an inquiry or the consideration of a bill, the committee agrees to delegate to the convener decision-making powers with regard to requests that are made by witnesses for their expenses to be paid by the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. Is the committee happy to delegate responsibility to me for approving any such claims in relation to that bill?
