Good morning and welcome to this meeting of the Local Government and Communities Committee. The first item on the agenda is to seek the committee's agreement to take in private items 4 and 5. Item 4 relates to the committee's discussion on the evidence taken under item 2 and on how we take the matter forward in our draft report. Discussions on the possible contents of such reports are usually held in private. Item 5 relates to the committee's discussion on its approach to further work on the 2007 elections.
