Subordinate Legislation Justice of the Peace Courts (Sheriffdom of South Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway) Revocation Order 2009 (SSI 2009/180)

The committee will now deal with two Scottish statutory instruments under the negative procedure. The first, SSI 2009/180, is necessary to revoke the earlier instrument in respect of which the committee voted in favour of a motion to annul. Although the Subordinate Legislation Committee reported the instrument on the ground that the Government did not comply with the 21-day rule, it was content with the explanation that was given.
