Decision on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (Bill Aitken)

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I open the meeting with the usual request to everyone to ensure that mobile phones are switched off. We have received apologies from Stewart Maxwell, who is ill. Maureen Watt is expected to attend in his place as a committee substitute, but she might be late, as she is flying up to Edinburgh from London this morning.

The first item is a decision on taking business in private. I invite the committee to consider whether to take in private item 6. Does the committee agree to do so?

Members indicated agreement.
