Good morning and welcome to the 12th meeting in 2016 of the Health and Sport Committee. As I normally do at this point, I ask everyone to switch off their mobile phones, as they can interfere with the sound system and the committee proceedings. I should, however, note that colleagues and clerks are using tablet devices instead of hard copies of the papers.
Agenda item 1 is declaration of interests. I welcome Bob Doris back to the committee but before I invite him to declare any relevant interests, I must put on record my—and, I am sure, the committee’s—thanks to Fiona McLeod, who joined the committee for the period when Bob Doris was away and whom we have worked with in the past on the committee.
