Item in Private

The Convener (Christine Grahame):

I open the 12th meeting in session 2 of the Health Committee. I welcome Tom McCabe, the Deputy Minister for Health and Community Care and Chester Wood, from the Food Standards Agency.

Item 1 on the agenda is consideration of whether the committee agrees to take item 4 in private, for the following reasons. It is a discussion of our work programme; it requires to be prioritised and individuals may be discussed. Once the committee has agreed its priorities, any item can be discussed in public at the next or later meetings if the committee is agreeable. It is fully intended that the committee's agreed work programme will be a public document. Do I have the committee's agreement to take item 4 in private?

Members indicated agreement.
