Agenda item 5 is consideration of correspondence that I received from the convener of the Subordinate Legislation Committee. Members will see from the paper that accompanies the correspondence that I propose that we should make a submission to the Subordinate Legislation Committee's inquiry into the regulatory framework in Scotland, given the discussions that we have had about the procedures for scrutinising the financial impact of subordinate legislation. We raised concerns during scrutiny of the parent act. Do members agree that we should make a submission and that it should be considered in private at our next meeting?
