Decision on Taking Business in Private

The Convener (Jackson Carlaw)

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the second meeting of the Forth Crossing Bill Committee, and the first at which we will take evidence. I apologise to the witnesses: committee room 3 is a bit like the state dining room at Windsor castle, and they are all at the far end of what seems like a very long dining table. However, this is the committee room that we have been able to obtain, and I hope that, with the assistance of the audio equipment, we will not need to shout at one another in order to make ourselves heard.

The first item of business is for the committee to decide whether to take item 4, under which the committee will consider the evidence heard during the meeting, in private. Does the committee agree to take item 4 in private?

Members indicated agreement.
