Decisions on Taking Business in Private

Good morning, colleagues. I welcome everyone to the second meeting in 2009 of the European and External Relations Committee.

Agenda item 1 is to agree to take a few moments in private at the end of each meeting on our European Union budget review inquiry to consider the key themes. Is that agreed?

Members indicated agreement.

We move to agenda item 2. Next week, we hope to consider the first draft of our report on our China plan inquiry. The normal practice is to consider such reports in private. Do members agree to do that?
