Good morning and welcome to the first meeting of the Equal Opportunities Committee in this new year. I wish everyone a happy new year. Before we start thinking about the next holiday, we will have to get down to work. We have received apologies from Margaret Smith.

It is recommended that we discuss agenda items 3 and 4 in private. Item 3 refers to a draft report and item 4 refers to a claim for witnesses' expenses. Do members agree to discuss items 3 and 4 in private?
