Good morning and welcome to the ninth meeting in 2006 of the Equal Opportunities Committee. I remind all those present that mobile phones should be turned off completely, because they interfere with the sound system. I have received apologies from Elaine Smith and John Swinburne, and we expect Marilyn Livingstone to be late.

Item 1 is to consider whether to take in private item 4, which is discussion of our draft annual report. Is that agreed?
