Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning, and welcome to the 29th meeting in 2008 of the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Committee. I remind all those present that mobile phones and BlackBerrys should be switched off for the duration of the meeting.

Under agenda item 1, we must decide whether to take in private item 7, which concerns our consideration of witnesses for scrutiny of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Bill. Do members agree to take item 7 in private?
