Welcome to the sixth meeting of the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Committee in 2010. We have received apologies from Margaret Smith, who is unable to attend today’s meeting as she is giving evidence to the Forth Crossing Bill Committee.
I welcome Mike Rumbles to the committee. He has joined us to take part in our deliberations on class sizes.
Under the first item on our agenda, I invite members to agree to consider our budget strategy in private. Do we agree so to do?
