I welcome committee members and members of the press and public to this meeting of the Enterprise and Culture Committee. We have received apologies from Mike Watson, who is at a funeral; from Jamie Stone, who may be late or absent because he has had to go to the dentist in Tain; and from Susan Deacon, who will be late.

I wish everybody a happy new year, and congratulations are due to Richard Baker on his engagement over the festive season.
