Decision on Taking Business in Private

I open the seventh meeting of the Communities Committee in 2007. I remind all those present that mobile phones and BlackBerrys should be turned off. I have received apologies from Patrick Harvie and Tricia Marwick. I understand that Jamie Stone has been delayed but expects to join the committee later.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on taking business in private. Members are asked to consider whether to take item 4, which is a discussion on the committee's annual report, in private. Is that agreed?

Members indicated agreement.

We previously agreed that item 5 should also be considered in private.
