The Public Audit Committee looks at reports published by the Auditor General for Scotland to examine whether public money is being spent efficiently and effectively.
On 17 September 2026, the Auditor General for Scotland published the report Management of the ScotWind leasing round.
The report says “The Scottish Government provide clearer, disaggregated plans for the use of offshore wind option fees to enable investment options to be explored.”
