1. Decisions on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 3, 4 and 5 in private.

2. Pre-Budget Scrutiny:

The Committee took evidence as part of its Pre-Budget Scrutiny from—

John Mooney, Regional Organiser and Maureen Dickson, Regional Organiser, UNISON Scotland.

Fulton MacGregor indicated that he is a former local government employee and while employed by the local authority he was also a member of Unison.

3. Pre-Budget Scrutiny (in private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting.

4. Proposed National Good Food Nation Plan (in private):

The Committee agreed a draft report.

5. Building Safety and Maintenance (in private):

The Committee considered a draft letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Housing and various changes were agreed to. The Committee delegated to the Convener responsibility for finalising the draft report for publication.
