MORAY GROWTH DEAL – FULL DEAL SIGNING
I am writing to confirm that I signed the Full Deal document for the Moray Growth Deal with the UK Government and with Moray Council on 20 December, which means that the Deal can now move into the delivery stage of its development.
The Scottish Government has committed investment of £32.5 million in the Moray Growth Deal over the next ten years to deliver inclusive economic growth across the region.
The locally designed projects we are supporting will improve access to sustainable transport, create more affordable homes, support innovation in key sectors – including high value manufacturing – to create more high value jobs, and equip local people with the technology and engineering based skills they will need to compete for these opportunities.
I have attached a PDF copy of the Full Deal document for your information.
