During dissolution, there are no MSPs and no parliamentary business can take place.

Bill becomes an Act

The Bill was passed on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 and became an Act on Wednesday, April 20, 2011

If the Bill is passed by MSPs, it can then get Royal Assent and become an Act.
