Further to that, the Scottish Government is investing more than £125 million in the Aberdeen city region deal, and it further supports businesses in the region through initiatives such as the energy transition fund and the just transition fund.
As an example, I was informed that NatureScot has concerns with its levels of core grant funding. That was highlighted by its director, Nick Halfhide, at a recent Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee meeting.

By offering an insight into the flow of nitrogen used across Scotland’s economy and environment, the SNBS is able to provide summary calculations regarding how efficiently nitrogen is currently being used (provided in the form of national metrics) and ultimately supporting Scotland’s national climate change targets.

Behaviour change will continue to be an important part of Energy Efficient Scotland and we continue to fund Home EnergyScotland and Resource Efficient Scotland who provide free and impartial advice to property owners on energy saving behaviours.
