We are committed to ensuring that people living in Scotland with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) are able to access the best possible care and support, and benefit from healthcare services that are safe, effective and person-centred.Since October 2020 we have awarded £2.6 million to fund innovative projects working to achieve better outcomes for people living with neurological conditions, including a project by Revive MS Support to undertake preliminary work towards an integrated national MS pathway.The most recent National Scottish MS Register report states that the percentage of newly diagnosed patients receiving contact from a MS specialist nurse within 10 working days of diagnosis increased from 86.1% in 2022 to 89% in 2023.We know that imaging capacity is important in supporting the delivery of waiting times targets and recovery, and we have provided seven mobile MRI scanners to increase activity...
