*S6M-03831 Colin Beattie: Abused Men in Scotland Charity Receives £177,257 National Lottery Community Fund Grant —That the Parliament welcomes the £177,257 in grant funding for the charity, Abused Men in Scotland, which was provided by the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will be used to implement a new community-focussed delivery model, supporting men who are experiencing domestic abuse and will provide a further 49 hours cover on its helpline; further understands that the funding will also help to recruit an additional 10 helpline support volunteers, with 15 Local Hero volunteers to be recruited throughout the country to deliver outreach and build connections in their local areas; believes that the organisation delivers a vital service throughout the country; thanks the organisation for its continued hard work, and wishes it the best going forward.
