To ask the Scottish Executive how it will evaluate the outcomes for families of the Sure Start initiative in order to ensure the best possible delivery of services. I refer the member to the answer given to question S1W-17052.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will investigate the extent of any cutbacks in local authority "best garden" competitions and any other such initiatives which improve the local environment.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has investigated the statutory and regulatory requirements with which developers of wave energy power stations in other countries must comply and whether it has any plans to incorporate any best practices which it has identified.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is considering establishing a national youth strategy. Yes. We are considering how best to give young people and youth issues a stronger profile at national and local level.
I understand the reasoning behind the provision and I support your wanting to ensure that everything goes smoothly, because that is in the best interests of the staff. However, I am still struggling to understand why the order would have to name someone and why it cannot just refer to them by definition or classification.
