Public Health Scotland have provided some limited information regarding those who have had an inpatient hospital admission which includes a diagnosis of ‘exposure to excessive natural cold’.Table 1 below provides information on the number of hospital admissions within NHS Scotland for people aged 65 and over treated for “natural exposure to cold weather” since 2010.
