We have now seen the guideline used so that rapists avoid jail and murderers get much-reduced sentences. Why did the First Minister, who was the justice secretary at the time, support these guidelines, and when will they be developed?
Would the SPCB consider reaching out to members of staff to get solutions to the problem, so that we can move forward, in anticipation of having—as the member rightly said—a family-friendly Parliament?
I hope that that offers some assurance about the work that we are taking forward, which ultimately will meet our objectives. I will not get in all the members who have requested supplementary questions, but I will get in as many as I can.
The difference for the Alhambra is that although most public theatres in Scotland get public subsidies or subsidies from local authorities—some are arm’s-length external organisations—it does not.
