Scottish Water is now unable to eliminate the problem, despite trying a number of measures such as chemicals, peat and shell beds and sealing off buildings. l have had exactly the same experience with the new waste water treatment works at Ardoch in Dumbarton in my constituency, so I sympathise entirely with what the petitioner is calling for.
