Over the past ten years, the total amount of waste going to landfill in Scotland has dropped by over a third, with the most recent official statistics showing that Scotland met its 2025 target to reduce all waste by 15%.
The sector also plays a significant role benefitting communities in some of Scotland’s most rural and remote areas. Firstly, there is no mention of the forthcoming Aquaculture Vision, which is expected to be published by Marine Scotland early 2023.
