The Subordinate Legislation Committee made no comment on any of the instruments other than to raise one query on SSI 2006/136 and to express a reservation on SSI 2006/139.
The petition calls on the Scottish Parliament to support the establishment of the golden eagle as Scotland's national bird.At its meeting on 28 June 2005, the committee agreed to approach the relevant minister to express concern about the lack of response from the Executive.
Does the Executive have any intention of calling for a review of procedures in view of the concerns that were expressed in the NICE report? No, but as I said, we expect the points made in the report to be taken into account in the delivery of service.
